If you haven’t tried Cheese Nibbles before – you need to make a dash for one of their stockists immediately, though don’t hold us responsible when you eat the whole lot in one go!
Cheese Nibbles have had a recent re-brand and now have four delicious variations in colourful, exciting pots. Their flavours are Emmental Amulets, Parmesan Sables, Pistachio & Parmesan and Stilton & Almond.
When Oak Apple Catering was in its early days, Ed, owner of Cheese Nibbles was looking into something different and new to do alongside this catering business – and so Cheese Nibbles was born! Both businesses grew from strength to strength and are real Shropshire success stories.
Ed is a farmer’s son from Shropshire and he has always had a passion for quality food and seeking out the best ingredients to use. Cheese Nibbles are so delicious because they are made from simple, high quality, genuine ingredients.
Ed has been working with food since leaving school and takes real pride in his work and amazing flavours. We cannot pick a favourite flavour Cheese Nibble as they really are so moreish and melt in your mouth!
They make the perfect accompaniment to many foods including the products of fellow Shropshire producer What a Pickle!. Ed and Camilla of What a Pickle! regularly work together on stalls during festivals. Camilla says this works so well because their products go so well together – everyone that tries a pickle and a Cheese Nibble together think that they compliment each other perfectly. This also helps both businesses with staffing and an all-important energy boost for each other during the long days!
Cheese Nibbles are super versatile and can be eaten just as they are, added to a cheese board, paired with a complimenting food or drink (port or wine works well!) or even used as the base of a canope.
We are very excited that Cheese Nibbles will be joining the Buy-From Shropshire run at Ludlow Food Festival again this year. Ludlow is a favourite of theirs because it brings such a wide variety of producers all showing their amazing businesses. They say ‘it makes us proud to be a part of Shropshire and what a great county it is’.
Right…we’re off to finish our tub of Parmesan Sables!
