A fine art Giclee print of a black and white, Pen & Ink line drawing inspired by the kingfishers I used to watch from my office window.

The Image is printed on Hahnemuhle German Etching 310gsm paper which is slightly textured. This allows the print to resemble the original picture as closely as possible. Each image has a 1 inch border to allow for mounting

Dimensions are approximate, as the print is copied directly from the original which was not a standard size.

All of my Art Work is inspired by a love for the British Countryside, but there is often a family connection as well. For many years I worked for Sculptor and Mosaic Artist Andrew Logan at his Museum in Berriew, Wales. The Museum office window over looked the River running through the centre of the village, and I spent probably too many hours watching the kingfishers flashing their brilliant coloured feathers darting up and down the river as they dived for fish.

I sketch directly from nature, but due to the detail involved in my work and the time it takes to complete a picture, I also work from photos I have taken.

To achieve as much detail as possible I work with fine nibbed 0.01 mm Rotring Pens.

Watermark will be removed when printed.

My prints are produced and shipped directly from a Hahnemuhle Certificated Print Studio. All prints have genuine archival properties, are of Museum quality and have longevity of over 100 years.

If you would like a certificate of authenticity to go along with your print please purchase from my shop at the same time as you place your order.
